Important 2009 Conference Update
It appears that the 2009 HTCIA Ohio Chapter Spring Training Conference has become another victim of the economic recession. Due to lack of attendee registration the Executive Board is forced to cancel the conference. We regret any hardship this places on our presenters, exhibitors and attendees. Thank you for understanding in these uncertain times. Registration fees paid by credit card will be refunded to that credit card. Deposited checks will be refunded and non deposited checks will be returned.

Make plans now to join us on the far east side of Cleveland on May 12 through 14 for our second annual Spring Training Conference. This conference is hosted by the Ohio Chapter of the HTCIA, the same organization that brought you the successful 20th Anniversary HTCIA International Training Conference & Expo in Cleveland in 2006.
From 2002 through 2004, the Ohio Chapter conducted the highly regarded Salt Fork regional conferences, then spent nearly two years preparing the 2006 International event. Last year, the Chapter returned to its roots of providing low cost quality training to cybercrime and IT security personnel in the Midwest and Great Lakes Region. Last year's conference drew attendees from as far away as Switzerland. They represented the private sector and federal, state, and local agencies.
You will be able to attend training sessions by top presenters from across the country. In addition to the great learning opportunities, a number of vendors will be present.
The conference will be held in Kirtland, Ohio at the Lakeland Community College campus, just off Interstate 90, and only 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland.

We are once again having our well received social night. This year's social night is being held on Wednesday, May 13th at the Mooreland Mansion which is located on the college campus.In addition to our social night we have added a night at the ball game. The night at the ball game is on Tuesday, May 12th when the Captains are in town.The Captains are Lake County's Minor League Baseball Team.
We are pleased to announce that Mobile Forensics, Inc. will be offering their two day Cell Phone "Crash Course" on Thursday, May 14th - Friday, May 15th. The cost of their training is $450. If you are attending our conference you can enroll in their training and receive a $100 discount, paying ONLY $350 for 2 days of training with the leading mobile forensics training company in the US.
