Defiance College has a student from the Canton area who is looking for an internship opportunity in mid-March, so that the bulk of effort could be accomplished during an extended Spring Break.

2012 Big Registration Drawing

Help the Chapter and and Win a Write Blocker

You are the organization. Without you we don't exist.

By registering a new member you will be entered in to a drawing to win a write blocker. Register two new members and your name will be entered twice, and so on.

First signatory on the new member application will be used as your entry in the drawing.

Student applications can not be used (Sorry, student coordinators would win every time!) But God bless the Student Coordinators - they are bringing the future to our organization.

The drawing will run till October 2012.

Doug Roderick

The Executive Board is happy to announce Doug Roderick as one of our HTCIA Greats because of his leadership as the Ohio Chapter’s 2011 President.

 

Last year was a great year for our chapter, due in large part because of the fine work of last year’s officers, and from the willingness of our members to pitch in and support the Ohio HTCIA. 
 
Our quarterly meetings had great speakers and fellowship. The Salt Fork conference was well attended, and it offered great training – provided primarily by members of our own Chapter.
 
A large measure of the credit for last year’s accomplishments should go to Doug.  He is not a person to demand that tasks be accomplished in his way. Instead, he led by consensus, and allowed everyone to have their say. He was a pleasure to work with, and is big fun to boot!
 
The FBI performs a yearly evaluation of all CART team members, and while he would never say it, our very own Doug Rodrick was awarded top honors in this national revaluation.  Doug is a Detective with the Dayton Police Department, and I am sure they are as proud of his accomplishments as we are.
 
We have sent a letter to his department expressing our appreciation of Doug and for allowing him to support the Ohio Chapter of the HTCIA. I know you will join us and let Doug know we appreciate his efforts.
